Instructions
Cut the dragon fruits in half, lengthwise.
2 ripe dragon fruits
Scoop out the flesh using a spoon. If they are ripe, it should come out easily.
Place the dragon fruit flesh in a blender or food processor.
Blend the dragon fruit flesh until it turns into a smooth puree. Scrape down the sides of the blender or food processor a few times to ensure everything is well blended.
If using, add the fresh lime juice at this point. Also, add honey or agave nectar for sweetness, adjusting to your taste preference.
Transfer the dragon fruit puree into an airtight container.
Store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze it in an ice cube tray for longer storage. Once frozen, you can transfer the cubes to a freezer bag.
